FREE English PowerPoint Jeopardy Quiz Template

We have a FREE Powerpoint jeopardy game for download here to help play games and teach English in your classrooms all over the world. it is editable so you can use and refit for other subjects but we have included a few options here on different English subjects and topics to get you started right after you download it.

I have used this Powerpoint jeopardy game with grades 1-3 as both teaching aid, classroom game and as consolidation and its works well as both. you will need to keep a points score on another area, either a flip chart or a section of the black/white board or you could even assign students to do it!

It follows the format of the normal game show jeopardy, and students really get into it at all ages and abilities.

The power point is simple to use and like all of our resources. especially the powerpoint jeopardy games i have made it editable for you to change as needed for your class.

in case you haven’t used a powerpoint Jeopardy game before we have some simple instructions below to help get you started.

We have these on a YouTube Video as well as in written form below. This is for the Short Vowel Versions but the game play is the same across all the Powerpoint jeopardy games

Instructions for the game play on the Powerpoint jeopardy game

• 1) Split the class into two or three teams.
• 2) each team picks a topic and a question for different values
• 3) if they answer the question they get the points for their team ( on the board)
• 4) take turns and make sure as many students are involved as possible.

Instructions for teachers to use the PowerPoint Jeopardy Game

• Double Click the file to open, it will open in a non presentation ( edit) format.
• Click the screen to make it full screen and enabel the game
• students pick a subject nad value, and you click on it, this will open a question page.
• Once open they can try to answer the question, once they have tried you can click the bottom symbols which take you back to the make jeopardy grid.
• it will then blank out the value of that question so it cant be chosen again.
• You then move to the next question

There are 36 questions on this grid and this game will last about 30 mins if you wanted to go through them all, however you can give a set number of questions they can choose depending on time or attention of your students

They are editable but of course it takes time to go through 36 questions and answers so if you are in a rush feel free to use the ones ready made.
