I have made these for my school and students. Guided and leveled readers can be really really expensive so I thought putting some packs of leveled readers might be helpful to teachers out there. These reading passages are leveled using the SMOG and Flesch Kincaid Grade Level. As with all things this is dependent on the background, prior knowledge and reading level of your students. Some will find it easier some will find it more difficult. So they are designed for you to use your professional judgement
I have started to make some readers based on themes. This is the first and the topic is sea animals. There are five cards with five different sea animals for students to read and learn about and then answer the simple and more difficult questions. The animals include sperm whales, manatees, great white sharks, sea turtles and giant squid. The pictures are student friendly and these could easily be printed and laminated for repeated use.

They can be used as part of general lessons or as part of a Guided reading programme ( which is what i am going to try to build up here) A set of reading cards for schools to be able to target reading levels for their students and implement a cost saving reading system to help them better cater for learner diversity.
The phonics resources on this site also go well with this and they are also available in both free and editable versions
Most of resources can be premium downloaded below, they are all editable so you can adapt them for your, classes, students and schools. It also helps me with the costs of running the website!

A tried and tested method of allowing students to practice their vocabulary and great as supplementary work to a topic. 7 different crosswords for you to use in class.
I have included 7 individual crossword worksheets here and the editable version means you can resize them or cover the answer keys, which are included at the bottom of the page
They are designed for younger learners but if you remove those answers it gets much more difficult!
This should make it easier for teachers and home schoolers. I have put them on A5 if you need them smaller, if you want them as A4 then they can be resized. I wanted to try to save paper and resources and i think they are big enough.

A set of lovely animal pictures and letters to help young learners with learning both the names and the sounds of English. I have added some alternatives at the end as well for other letters and animals. ( the ones i could find any way)
I have made them to fit on A5 ( so two per piece of A4 paper) if you need different sizes i will make a few different sets and these could be used as cards or even as posters on your classroom or home walls.
Check out the other versions which are designed as worksheets and students have to think of any words they can that start with that letter ( although you could also do the phonetic sounds as well) these are both available as free and as editable if you need. Three cute and effective worksheets to help teach and assess weather vocabulary there are many out there, i just liked these pictures and my students do as well 🙂 This are differentiated so that the same worksheets can be given to differing abilities.
I have made a Weather dominoes activity as well. These are very popular and i have a few different ones both for free and editable.
