A set of rhyming CVC poems for students to practice reading CVC, high frequency and sight words. They are a little more difficult than the previous onset and rime readers but offer a more genuine experience. They also introduce rhyming for students ( in the form of a poem)

We have included four questions on each page, including at least one that covers reading comprehension strategies to try to introduce both these essential skills and higher order thinking.
