Some inventive ideas on how to use Augmented reality in a primary classroom. from AR walls to reading lessons. Adding a little something to help students visualise and interact in lessons really helps them retain the knowledge. With AR it doesn’t have to cost a fortune either.
As i wrote here I use VR in the classroom from time to time, i work in Primary ESL so its rare we use it to travel back and walk the streets of Rome while doing a project on the advances in sanitation of the Roman era or anything, but i see no reason why it cant be used to inspire and motivate students of all ages.
The answer to this is impossible to give generically, though its not gonna stop me trying, it will depend on budget, purpose, space and much more
Students are unlikely to remember the test they were set 10 years ago, but they are definitely going to remember the time they turned round in a chair in a classroom and came face to face with a dinosaur.
That was nearly four years ago. I still use it for exactly those reasons.
