These are great little activities that allow students to take home a little game to play with parents. brothers, sisters and pets! (well maybe not pets!)
It is the classic finger fortune teller with an English Phonics twist. Students have to make it, or you can use one of the five templates provided. They have to follow instructions on a procedural text or from you as you show them, and once completed they can play the simple phonics game. I have the instructions on the page as well.
But simply they have to put their Index fingers and thumbs into the back of the game,
and move them to open and close the game. There are colours, numbers and tasks inside.

The instructions on how to make are in the file, but it is fairly easy and your students should be able to work it out if you want to do this as a self directed task.
