Actions verbs are a mainstay of every language teachers curriculum. They are great to teach and children really benefit from being taught them using varied activities. However, one of those activities we use to consolidate or cool them down after all the actions, is the humble worksheet.
Children need to learn a mixture of grammar and phonics to learn to talk. Verbs, and in particular Action Verbs, are incredibly important part of this. The ability to be able to communicate their actions and what they want or have been doing is a huge motivator for younger learners. As they start to form sentences they will naturally acquire vocabulary, there are ways to develop these skills more effectively.

The teaching of cursive writing follows a set of steps that help students learn and master each skill before moving on. Practicing letter strokes, writing single letters, concentrating on lower case before upper case and then practicing words for a scaffolded program for children to learn quickly and effectively. A set of printable A to Z English Alphabet Tongue Twisters and a new premium version to use for Kindergarten, ESL and Primary schools and teachers. Great to practice reading and pronunciation. These are made so that four fit to a page and save on Ink. They look better in colour, but of course black and white works as well.

A tried and tested method of allowing students to practice their vocabulary and great as supplementary work to a topic. 7 different crosswords for you to use in class.
I have included 7 individual crossword worksheets here and the editable version means you can resize them or cover the answer keys, which are included at the bottom of the page
They are designed for younger learners but if you remove those answers it gets much more difficult!
This should make it easier for teachers and home schoolers. I have put them on A5 if you need them smaller, if you want them as A4 then they can be resized. I wanted to try to save paper and resources and i think they are big enough.

I have made them to fit on A5 ( so two per piece of A4 paper) if you need different sizes i will make a few different sets and these could be used as cards or even as posters on your classroom or home walls.
Check out the other versions which are designed as worksheets and students have to think of any words they can that start with that letter ( although you could also do the phonetic sounds as well) these are both available as free and as editable if you need.
