Free Time and activities vocabulary is a great way to encourage students to communicate. People like to share their interests and it has the advantage of students being able to tale about something they know well in their first language and then try to talk about it in English.
if not using as a second language it still helps native students learn hw to construct sentences and to add depth to their language use.
