A free Animals Word search worksheets to help students recognise and learn the names of animals including pets, farm and wild animals. These are presented in a Word search format as these are ever popular. Great for Kindergarten, ESL and Primary there are also CVC and vocabulary versions of these in both the free and paid sections 🙂

These Word searches encourage students to learn the names of animals both by reading and finding them in the word search, but also by writing the names of them under the image on the paper. There is even a clue card at the bottom 🙂 They can also colour the images after they have finished the wordsearch!
Animals are an easy hit in the classroom for teachers and i hope these help you both inspire your students and teach the topic.
Word searches are ever popular but i thought the chance to be able to make your own ( with the editable version would be of use to teachers and parents) and if not then the PDF versions coverall the planets as well.
