Christmas creeps up so quickly. Especially as a teacher, exams, Halloween, Thanksgiving and then all of a sudden there is is. Christmas week and you are scrabbling around looking for activities. Well over the next few weeks we will be putting a jolly old selection of resources. Like this one, a set of 7 Christmas readers. It is our gift to you as it is the festive season.

Christmas is a lovely time with students, from making Christmas cards or snowflakes, or dominoes activities to reading and answering questions like here. So download and enjoy with your children and students.

So where ever you are Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

So I have put together these reading cards with 7 Short stories with 4 comprehension questions to add a little constructive fun to those Christmas lessons.

We also are producing other activities and worksheets all themed around Christmas, they should all be together here as we released them at the same time. These readers are suited for middle to upper primary students and include higher order thinking questions.

We will include a video of them as a read along soon as well 🙂

Reading comprehension is both difficult and essential for younger learners. Half the battle is getting them motivated on a topic to be willing as well as able to try to use reading strategies. These cards will help. You can add additional questions as you wish. Hopefully they will be of use in your Christmas lessons and feel free to check out out full comprehensive readers and phonics workbooks. They help us keep the site up and running.

We also have hundreds of free phonics worksheets for you to look through and use.

Let us know if you used them and if they were useful.

I have been a teacher of English for over 15 years, in that time i made hundreds and thousands of resources and learnt so much i think its worth sharing. Hopefully to help teachers and parents around the world.
